Compliance Officer — Payment Service Provider | Argentina

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer & Director to join and lead the compliance function of our Payment Service Provider (PSP) business in Argentina.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company operates in accordance with applicable Argentine financial, payments, AML/CTF, consumer protection, data protection, and corporate regulatory requirements, while maintaining strong relationships with regulators, banking partners, payment institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the company's senior compliance representative in Argentina.
- Oversee the company's compliance framework and regulatory obligations applicable to its PSP activities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain AML/CTF, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and compliance policies and procedures.




- Ensure appropriate customer due diligence and ongoing monitoring processes are implemented.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely implementation of new requirements.
- Coordinate regulatory reporting, compliance reviews, audits, and examinations.
- Act as a key point of contact with relevant Argentine regulatory authorities and external advisers.
- Establish and maintain an effective compliance risk-management framework.
- Work closely with Legal, Risk, Operations, Finance, Product, and Technology teams.
- Provide regular compliance and risk reports to the Board and senior management.
- Support the company's corporate governance and regulatory requirements as a Director.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, record keeping, internal controls, and compliance training are maintained.
- Identify and escrow material compliance risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Requirements
