We are looking for a Senior DSE Specialist to join our team. This role is well suited for a technically versatile professional who is comfortable moving between platform administration, development, and architecture discussions. Responsibilities
- Administer the Snowflake instance, including warehouses, databases, resource monitors, and cost management
- Provision users and roles while managing RBAC, security, and permissions across the platform
- Support end users by troubleshooting access issues, query performance concerns, and data availability problems
- Maintain a strong governance posture across the platform to ensure consistency and compliance
- Write SQL for both DDL and analytical querying purposes
- Use and modify existing CI/CD pipelines to support Snowflake deployments
- Contribute to semantic model development, quality assurance, and governance practices




- Apply AI capabilities within Snowflake, with a preference for leveraging Cortex
- Partner with the client's data architect to implement and extend the medallion architecture
- Contribute to data modeling decisions across bronze, silver, and gold layers

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working with Snowflake or a similar technology
- Strong SQL skills, including DDL, complex query writing, and performance tuning
- Experience with Snowflake administration, including RBAC, warehouses, resource monitors, and security configuration
- Data modeling experience, with the ability to discuss medallion, dimensional, or vault approaches and their trade-offs
- Production experience with either dbt or Snowflake Streams & Tasks, beyond basic familiarity
- CI/CD experience, with comfort working within and modifying existing pipelines; exposure to Terraform is a plus, and at minimum, a c
