Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Build and ship product features end-to-end
- Ability to write clear and well-defined design documentation
- Mentor fellow engineers
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software bugs
- Implement back-end APIs in Node.JS
- Work on our Ember SPA front-end
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers
- Participate in an Agile software development life cycle
- Be product-minded and think about the customer

Attributes of a Successful Candidate
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing web-based applications
- Experience with informal technical leadership and mentorship of junior engineers
- Experience with a modern front-end framework (Ember, Angular, React, Vue, etc.)
- Experience writing REST / JSON APIs in various backend technologies (Node.js, Dotnet, etc.)
- Ability to work together with a team to deliver high quality software

Preferred Skills




- Experience with Node.JS and modern ES6 or TypeScript
- Experience with Serverless architecture and related paradigms
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Ember.js, React)
- Experience working on SaaS web applications
- Github Actions and general CI/CD experience
- Bonus: Electron and/or MSFT Add-In development experience
- BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
