We are seeking an experienced Lead Domino Developer - API to own the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of applications built and deployed on the Domino Data Lab platform. This role sits at the intersection of platform administration and software engineering, and requires someone who can both build robust applications and lead a team responsible for their long-term stability and performance

Responsibilities

Architect Domino-hosted applications end to end, guiding the team through platform-specific design decisions and troubleshooting
Build, deploy, and maintain production applications on Domino, including environment configuration, dependency management, and performance tuning
Administer and develop across Domino Workspaces, Environments, Projects, Data Sources, Jobs, Flows, App publishing, and model deployment
Write clean, maintainable, production-grade code in Python as the primary development language
Develop responsive, production-grade web front ends for internal or client-facing applications
Deploy and troubleshoot containerised workloads on Kubernetes,



including image optimisation and cluster-level debugging
Design and integrate REST APIs and microservice-based pipelines to support application functionality
Reason about architecture, cost, and security trade-offs across cloud platform deployments
Mentor engineers, plan workload, conduct design and code reviews, and own delivery outcomes for applications in production
Communicate effectively across technical architecture discussions and business stakeholder briefings
Set direction, delegate effectively, and hold the team accountable while fostering collaboration

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience administering and developing on the Domino Data Lab platform
Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining production applications on Domino
Expertise in Python for production-grade software development
Experience in ReactJS for building responsive web front ends
Working fluency in SQL
