Description

SUMMARY

The Master Data (MDM) Developer designs, enhances, and supports general data platforms in a continuous improvement environment. This position works side-by-side with other master data developers, data engineers, architects, and analysts to design, configure, and develop validations, workflows, integrations, and business rules using the latest in cloud master data, product information management (PIM), data warehouse, and integrations technologies to support best data governance practices.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer programming, computer engineering or related field preferred, or comparable job-related experience and training

3 to 5 years or more proven and relevant work experience

Certificates, License & Registrations

STIBO STEP or other MDM/PIM software certification a plus

Competencies (Skills & Abilities)

Building and maintaining data designs, validation rules, user interface, and workflows using Stibo Systems (preferred) or other MDM/PIM software (i.e. Informatica,



IBM MDM, Riversand, EnterWorks)

Experience working with multiple database systems (Snowflake, Redshift, MySQL or similar)

Experience developing and executing data migration processes

Proficiency in JavaScript or other scripting language,

Hands on experience on data integration tools (i.e., Matillion, Boomi, Datastage or similar), SQL query development and management, cloud-based data warehouse experience a plus

Experience or knowledge of data modelling

Thrives and self-motivates in a fast-moving remote work environment, working on a variety of projects and technologies in an agile, team-based culture

Self-starting with strong technical skills, problem solving abilities, organizational skills, and detail-orientation
