In this role, you will:
Empowers the business to understand and use data sources optimally through being the expert in the data. The Data Steward understands the “why” behind the data – who is using the data, why are they using it, and how might they benefit from using it? Through close collaboration,



the Data Steward is uniquely positioned to drive business success through development of a business glossary, use case and adoption tracking, creation of data quality rules, training, and participation in governance activities. This role will support users of the data itself, the products that use the data, as well as strategic application of the data.
Be a subject matter expert for their designated data sources, including what the data means, who uses it, how much it is used, and for which use cases
Collaborate with key data users to develop business logic for the IT team to implement in their systems for automated ongoing monitoring to proactively catch data quality issues before they impact downstream processes
Advise and develops materials to inform stakeholders of self-service data availability
Understand and advise how to pull data from the relevant databases and data platforms
Provide written and verba
