Job Description
The Senior Commercial Controlling Analyst is responsible for delivering financial and business analysis to support commercial decision making, ensuring accurate performance measurement, validation of results, and effective monitoring of business exposures. This role actively contributes to management reporting processes, monthly close activities, and profitability analysis, providing timely and reliable insights to local and regional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial and business performance information,



translating complex datasets into meaningful reports and actionable insights for commercial management.
Execute and validate daily and weekly P&L; reporting, while monitoring commercial positions and key drivers impacting financial performance.
Participate in month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and financial controls.
Perform variance analysis and explain deviations against expected results.
Partner with Trading, Operations, Finance, and Accounting teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Identify risks and opportunities for process improvements, driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives, and providing ad hoc analysis and recommendations to enhance business performance.
Qualifications
Knowledge of, or interest in developing expertise in, Commercial Controlling, with the ability to provide insights that support business decision-making.
