Veta Virtual is hiring a Senior Accountant for one of our important financial services clients. This role is adecuado for someone who combines strong accounting expertise with the ability to adapt to the realities of fast-moving startups.

? Your Role

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our client’s portfolio by taking ownership of their accounting operations. You will oversee accounting workflows, ensure compliance with U.S. standards, and deliver financial insights that help clients make sound decisions. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage client relationships, implement tools, and optimize accounting processes in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

Managing the full accounting cycle for U.S.-based clients,



including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
Applying startup accounting principles to balance best practices with resource constraints and evolving priorities.
Making financial judgments in dynamic, less structured environments while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Integrating and optimizing external applications with QuickBooks Online to streamline accounting operations.
Overseeing accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and vendor/client interactions.
Leveraging tools such as QuickBooks Online, Slack, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, and Google Drive daily, with the opportunity to work with Rippling, Brex, Bill.com, ClickUp, Gusto, and Ramp.
Staying current on emerging technologies and AI applications that can enhance accounting efficiency.
