About The Role

We’re looking for an Accounting Services Manager with strong accounting and bookkeeping fundamentals who can independently manage a portfolio of SMB clients. You'll own the client relationship, oversee full-cycle accounting, and work alongside a dedicated bookkeeper to ensure accurate financials and excellent service.

Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of small and medium-sized business clients.

- Perform month-end close, reconciliations, accruals,



and working papers.

- Handle GST/HST and sales tax filings accurately and on time.

- Review financial statements and explain results to clients.

- Maintain and optimize accounting and fintech integrations.

- Collaborate with a supporting bookkeeper to ensure clean and timely books.

- Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and workflows.

Requirements

- Strong accounting and bookkeeping experience.

- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Xero.

- Experience with bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred revenue, and fixed assets.

- Familiarity with fintech tools such as Stripe, Dext, Plooto, Ramp, or similar.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Comfortable leading client calls and explaining financial reports to business owners.

- Proficiency with Google Workspace.

- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.

- CPA designation.
