We are looking for a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will own the reporting and analytics layer that business stakeholders rely on to make decisions, turning modeled data into clear, trustworthy, decision-ready dashboards.

This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to analytics decisions, collaborate closely with the data engineering team, and help improve how the organization consumes data. You will work across report development, data validation and stakeholder enablement, translating business questions into requirements and making sure the answers people see are accurate.

Responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain business-facing dashboards and reports in a modern BI platform (Tableau Cloud/Desktop/Prep)
- Translate business questions from stakeholders into clear data requirements, and specify the underlying reporting views the data engineering team needs to build
- Own report quality and validation: define the metrics, thresholds and acceptance criteria that determine whether a report is safe to read and act on, and review results post-launch
- Steward the report catalog and data-source consistency, flagging naming conflicts, duplicate or conflicting field definitions and orphaned data sources
- Manage the report lifecycle, including identifying and triaging stale or low-usage content and driving decommissioning decisions through the team's ticketing workflow
- Partner with data engineering on the shared reporting-view boundary, providing starting SQL logic or examples to clarify business intent while engineering productionizes it
- Assign report tiers, business owners and alert recipients so issues are routed to the right people
- Document metric definitions,



known exceptions and business context so reporting logic is transparent and repeatable
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to continuously improve trust in reporting
- Support and share knowledge with other analysts and business users

Technology Requirements

- 3+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, analytics or reporting roles. We are versátil for candidates with strong recent experience building and validating dashboards on a modern BI platform
- Strong experience with a modern BI tool, especially Tableau (Cloud/Desktop/Prep); dashboard design, data storytelling and self-service enablement
- Strong SQL skills for exploring, validating and reconciling data against source systems
- Experience defining data-quality checks, metric definitions and validation thresholds
- Familiarity with a data warehouse / dimensional model as a reporting source
- Experience with Git and collaborative workflows, and comfort operating command-line/Python-based publishing and QA tooling, is a plus
- Experience with a ticketing/workflow system (e.g., Jira) for managing report requests and lifecycle is a plus
- Experience operating in a complex reporting environment where legacy and modern reporting surfaces coexist — and helping unify them — is a strong plus
