Creative Lead — Content & Post-Production
Remote — Latin America | Full-Time
You’ve mastered execution. Now you’re ready to build.
We’re looking for a hands-on Creative Lead — Content & Post-Production to join ÒKAMA at an important stage of our growth.
This role is designed for a senior creative who still loves the craft — editing, storytelling, color, motion and design — but is ready for more ownership.
You’ll initially focus on two key accounts, working hands-on while collaborating directly with our founder and existing creative resources. You’ll have meaningful creative ownership and the freedom to bring your perspective, experiment and help shape how brands come to life across content.
As we grow, so will your role.
You’ll progressively move from executing much of the work yourself to directing freelancers and future creative team members, protecting creative standards and taking greater ownership of the creative function.
We’re not looking for someone who’s ready to stop creating. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to start leading.
And we’re committed to helping you get there.
What You’ll OwnCreative Execution & Post-Production
You’ll be hands-on across:
- Long-form YouTube and podcast content
- Reels and short-form video
- Social content and Stories
- Instagram and LinkedIn carousels
- Motion graphics
- Thumbnails and digital creative
- Cross-platform content adaptations
This is primarily a post-production and creative development role . Audiovisual production and filming are not core responsibilities. Editing, Storytelling & Color
Video is central to this role.
You’ll bring strong editorial judgment across pacing, storytelling, music, sound and visual rhythm.
Advanced DaVinci Resolve skills are essential, including strong color correction and color grading capabilities.
We care about more than technically correct footage. We care about creating a visual language that feels intentional.
Creative Direction & Quality
You’ll have meaningful creative ownership over the accounts you lead.
We believe great creative work requires room for judgment, experimentation and ideas — not simply following instructions.
That creative freedom comes with responsibility: understanding the strategy behind the work, making thoughtful creative decisions and maintaining a consistently high standard.
As the team grows, your role will increasingly shift from producing that standard yourself to defining it, communicating it and protecting it across the work of others.
Client Collaboration
You’ll participate directly in client conversations, hearing feedback firsthand and translating it into clear creative direction.
As your leadership responsibilities grow, you’ll increasingly help ensure that client expectations, brand standards and creative decisions translate consistently across editors, designers and other creative contributors.
Creative Operations & Team Orchestration
You’ll work closely with the founder and our creative resources to help shape the workflows, SOPs, briefing systems and quality standards that support our next stage.
We don’t expect you to build these systems alone. We do expect your experience and perspective to matter.
Initially, you’ll execute a significant portion of the work yourself. As our team grows, you’ll increasingly brief, assign, review and direct freelancers and other creative specialists.
The goal is to progressively develop your ability to multiply creative quality through other people.
AI-Assisted Creative Workflows
You do not need to be an AI expert when you join us.
We do expect you to have experimented with generative AI for image, video or creative development — and to be genuinely curious about what these technologies make possible.
ÒKAMA is committed to developing this capability with you as we continue integrating AI into professional creative workflows.
Technology is a tool.
Not a substitute for taste.
Content Distribution
Initially, across the two accounts you’ll own, you’ll also support content scheduling and distribution across Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube using tools such as Metricool.
As we shape the workflow, repeatable operational tasks will progressively move to specialized resources so your time can shift toward higher-value creative direction and leadership.
Growth Is Part of the Role
We don’t expect you to arrive knowing everything this role may eventually require.
We do expect curiosity, ownership and a serious commitment to getting better.
In return, ÒKAMA is committed to your professional development.
Your growth may include generative AI, creative direction, client leadership, creative operations, delegation and people management.
We want development to translate into real opportunity: greater autonomy, more complex creative challenges and increasing leadership responsibility.
For the right person, this role offers a genuine path toward Creative Director as the function grows.
Your evolution should progressively move from:
Executing the standard → Defining the standard → Teaching the standard → Protecting the standard.
