MDNI is a real estate development company managing multiple ground-up multifamily construction projects throughout California. We are looking for an experienced construction leader to oversee project execution from design through construction while coordinating with our internal team, consultants, field staff, and General Contractor.
This is a senior leadership role for someone with extensive U.S. construction experience who can confidently manage multiple projects and keep them on schedule, within budget, and moving forward.
What You'll Do
You'll oversee the overall construction operations for multiple active projects by working closely with:
- Project Engineers
- Construction Managers
- Owner's Representatives
- General Contractor
- Architects
- Structural, Civil, MEP & Geotechnical Engineers
- Consultants
- Internal Construction Team
Responsibilities include:
- Lead construction operations across multiple ground-up multifamily projects.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Review project progress and identify potential risks before they impact construction.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and field teams.
- Attend Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings.
- Provide executive-level construction reports and recommendations.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Support executive leadership with construction planning and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- 10+ years of U.S. construction management experience
- Significant experience with ground-up multifamily residential projects
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
- Experience managing consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work during U.S. Pacific Time business hours
