At Darwoft , we’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a highly technical international project in the Cybersecurity / Identity Security space.

You’ll be working on a next-generation platform designed to help enterprise security teams understand how users, service accounts, applications, workloads, and AI-driven identities interact with cloud, SaaS, network, endpoint, and on-premise environments.

This is a highly data-intensive environment where the platform collects and analyzes large volumes of events, logs, network telemetry, identity activity, and security signals to detect unusual access patterns, infrastructure risks, security gaps, and potential threats.

This is not a traditional internal Data Engineering role.

We’re looking for someone who can combine Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Integrations, and Customer-facing technical work to design and build reliable ingestion mechanisms for complex enterprise environments.

What You’ll Be Working On

You’ll play a key role in designing and evolving data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services that bring information from multiple enterprise systems into the platform.

Your responsibilities will include

- Designing and building production-grade data ingestion pipelines, connectors, and collectors
- Integrating enterprise systems, cloud environments, APIs, security tools, and identity platforms
- Processing high-volume data sources such as security events, logs, identity activity, audit data, and network telemetry
- Developing backend and integration services using Python and/or Go
- Designing and consuming REST APIs
- Working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Building and operating containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes
- Deploying and integrating solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Troubleshooting complex issues across APIs, networking, infrastructure, applications, and data pipelines
- Improving ingestion performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Collaborating with Engineering, Solution Architecture, Customer Success, Product,



and other technical teams
- Working directly with enterprise customers to understand their infrastructure, technical constraints, security architecture, and data flows
- Turning recurring customer requirements into reusable connectors, integrations, or platform capabilities

What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a highly experienced engineer with a strong technical background and the ability to operate independently in complex environments.

Ideally, you bring:

- 8+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or similar roles
- Strong hands-on development experience with Python and/or Go
- Experience building data ingestion pipelines, connector frameworks, integration platforms, or distributed services
- Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Solid knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL
- Production experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD
- Experience designing reliable, scalable, production-ready distributed systems
- Strong debugging capabilities across application, infrastructure, networking, API, and data layers
- Experience integrating third-party platforms or complex enterprise systems
- Ability to translate ambiguous business and technical requirements into practical engineering solutions
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with technical stakeholders or customers
- English level B2 / C1

- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Identity Providers and authentication systems

- SIEM systems

- Endpoint security

- SASE / Zero Trust
- Cloud security
- Large-scale event processing
- Streaming or event-driven architectures

Experience integrating technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory, Okta, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Palo Alto, Microsoft Defender, AWS, Azure, GCP, or SIEM platforms is a strong plus. You don’t need experience with every technology listed. What matters most is a proven ability to understand complex APIs, learn new enterprise systems quickly, and transform heterogeneous data sources into reliable, scalable integrations.

Nice to Have

- Experience designing reusable connector SDKs or integration frameworks
- Exposure to large-scale streaming or event-processing systems
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, privileged access, service accounts, and non-human identities
- Experience with audit logs, cloud activity, or security events
- Background in Solution Architecture or Forward Deployed Engineering
- Experience in cybersecurity startups or high-growth SaaS companies
- Exposure to AI/ML applications, LLMs, AI agents, or AI-powered security products
