About the Role

CNGR is looking for a Logistics Supervisor to join its Supply Chain Management team supporting operations across South America. Based in San Salvador de Jujuy, Argentina, this role leads end-to-end import/export logistics for the region and supports the logistics needs of a major high-altitude industrial project, working closely with third-party logistics providers, the procurement team, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the full import/export logistics process for the South America region — transportation planning, booking, customs clearance coordination, in-transit tracking, and destination-port clearance — ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time.
- Liaise with and manage third-party logistics providers (shipping lines, freight forwarders, land transport companies), including supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and cost settlement, while continuously optimizing the logistics network.
- Coordinate logistics planning for high-altitude project operations, including transport of engineering equipment, machinery, camp supplies, and maintenance materials, supporting the logistics infrastructure needed for future expansion phases.
- Support the procurement team by evaluating overseas suppliers' logistics plans, reviewing transportation terms, coordinating delivery timelines, and resolving arrival discrepancies.
- Provide support to the Supply Chain department on day-to-day customs and procurement-related tasks as needed.

Requirements





- Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Spanish, or a related field (study-abroad background a plus).
- 3+ years of international logistics experience, including at least 1 year in team management or project coordination.
- Familiarity with import/export logistics, customs procedures, and local transportation environments in South America (Argentina, Chile, and/or Brazil).
- Experience supporting logistics for large-scale engineering projects, including transport of heavy equipment and bulk materials.
- Prior experience with import/export operations in South America, or local procurement experience in Argentina, is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated track record managing third-party logistics suppliers and controlling cross-border transportation costs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and logistics/ERP systems, with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- English: professional working proficiency, able to communicate in writing (emails, reports).
- Spanish: advanced/C1 level or equivalent (study-abroad background a plus).
- Mandarin Chinese: proficiency preferred, to support coordination with headquarters.
