Automation Quality Engineer

Location: Argentina Office – 707 Plaza San Martin, Arenales, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Level: Mid to Senior

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Create and execute automated, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.
- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers to ensure product quality.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and execution activities.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and testing processes.
- Perform root-cause analysis for application and automation failures.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Generate and communicate test execution results, defects, risks, and quality metrics.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency,



and overall QA processes.

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Test Automation for Mid-Level candidates; 6+ years preferred for Senior candidates.
- Strong hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with API testing and web application testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Experience working with Jira or similar defect/project management tools.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks.
- Programming experience in Java, Python
