We are looking for a Senior Data Architect part time in Latam to join a long-term project with a US-based company in the Retail & E-commerce industry.

You will work closely with a small, distributed technical team and business stakeholders, providing architectural guidance and helping evolve a mature Snowflake-based Data Platform .

Responsibilities

- Provide architectural guidance and strategic input on the evolution of the Data Platform.
- Conduct architecture, design and code reviews.
- Support the optimization and evolution of an existing Snowflake environment.
- Contribute to new integrations, Data Warehouse enhancements and platform improvements.
- Provide guidance on performance, scalability and cost optimization.
- Collaborate closely with the onshore Data Team on a daily basis.

Requirements

- Senior-level experience in Data Architecture and Data Warehousing .
- Strong experience with Snowflake in production environments.
- Experience with dbt,



data modeling, CI/CD, data migrations, performance and cost optimization .
- Strong understanding of modern Data Platform architecture.
- Experience designing and evolving mature data environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work proactively within a small, distributed team.
- Experience in Retail or E-commerce is a plus.
- Knowledge of Snowflake Cortex / AI is a plus.
