Regional Sales Manager – Animal Nutrition Southern Cone
The Sales Manager reports directly to the Vice President - Animal Nutrition and will participate in the Regional Leadership team of Animal Nutrition Latam. He/she is accountable for the all-animal nutrition businesses at Southern Cone, including Premixes & Services, Specialty Nutrition and Additive businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the regional business unit managing all commercial operations and manage the P&L; responsibilities for the region.
- Set and execute strategic goals and annual business plans, profit targets and growth plans for region in alignment with regional strategic objectives for the business unit and implement strategies to achieve those plans.
- Identify, elevate brand awareness and increase market share in existing markets and maximize new business development opportunities through various strategies.
- Build, inspire and motivate team leaders/members to achieve projected sales and profit plans. This includes mentoring especially in regard to our values and vision.
- Develop and track performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction.
- Analyze current and potential clients and market needs / tendencies – deep customer understanding
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Marketing and R&D; to ensure strategic objectives are met.
- Foster strategic partnerships with 3 rd parties, joint venture partners, cooperatives and other stakeholders to effectively manage the business.
- Represent the regional business in the regional nutrition leadership team. Seek cross-BU opportunities for collaboration and enterprise opportunities.
- Able to identify operational risks and ensure adherence to compliance standar ds across the region.
Your Profile
- Bachelor/master's degree in business, Animal Nutrition, Agricultural or similar industry.
- At least 15 years of relevant business experience in (animal) nutrition with P&L; responsib
