Graphic Designer - Proofing & Print Production Specialist

Schedule: 6 days per week, 9-hour shifts including a 1-hour unpaid break
Rest Day: 1 day per week, Saturday or Sunday

About the Role

We are hiring on behalf of a client for a Graphic Designer - Proofing & Print Production Specialist to support artwork preparation, proofing, graphic design, and print production workflows.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer who understands how artwork moves from design through production and can consistently prepare accurate, production-ready files.

You will work with design files, product templates, customer requirements, and production specifications while helping ensure artwork is visually accurate and technically ready for manufacturing.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently within deadlines are important for this position.

Responsibilities

- Create accurate artwork proofs for customer review and approval.
- Recreate, modify, and adjust artwork based on customer requests and production requirements.
- Prepare production-ready artwork files.
- Review artwork for layout, alignment, scale, spacing, and typography.
- Check files for appropriate bleed, resolution, sizing, and color modes.
- Prepare artwork according to product templates and technical specifications.
- Ensure designs follow customer brand guidelines and production requirements.
- Review files carefully to identify errors before they reach production.
- Identify potential production issues and recommend appropriate corrections.
- Maintain consistent quality across multiple projects and deadlines.
- Work with high-volume artwork workflows while maintaining accuracy.
- Communicate with Sales, Design,



Proofing, and Production teams regarding artwork requirements and corrections.
- Make necessary revisions based on customer or internal feedback.
- Maintain organized and accurate design files throughout the production process.

Required Qualifications

- Previous experience in graphic design, artwork production, prepress, proofing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles and print production workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience preparing print-ready artwork.
- Experience working with design templates and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of sizing, resolution, bleed, and color requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify small artwork errors.
- Ability to perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining consistent quality.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with promotional products or customizable merchandise.
- Experience with proofing or production artwork.
- Experience in print production or prepress.
- Familiarity with screen printing.
- Familiarity with digital printing.




- Familiarity with embroidery.
- Familiarity with heat transfer printing.
- Experience working with product-specific artwork templates.

Work Schedule
