Our client is a US accounting team that supports growing businesses and expects strong ownership over the month-end process. They need someone who can step in, work cleanly, and manage details without drama.

About the Role

You will handle core staff-accounting work across reconciliations, close support, reporting, and account analysis. QuickBooks knowledge is required. This role is for someone who understands the mechanics of a solid close, writes clearly, and does not need to be chased for follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries with proper support and review discipline.
- Own reconciliations for bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.
- Support month-end close and help produce accurate internal financial reporting.
- Review transactions and account activity for errors, unusual movement, or missing documentation.




- Work inside QuickBooks daily and support related workflows across AP, AR, and close.
- Coordinate with teammates or clients to resolve accounting questions quickly and clearly.

Who You Are
- You have staff-accounting experience supporting US-based books or clients.
- You are genuinely comfortable in QuickBooks and do not need training on the basics.
- You understand reconciliations, accruals, close support, and financial statement preparation.
- You work carefully and can still hit deadlines during busy close periods.
- Your English is strong enough for client-facing written communication and internal coordination.

Bonus Points
- Experience in an accounting firm environment.
- Experience with Xero, Bill.com, or similar accounting tools.
- Exposure to multi-client or multi-entity accounting.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 Days:
- You fully understand the close calendar, the major balance sheet reconciliations, and where support tends
