We are seeking a curious, experienced Senior Node.js Engineer to help design and build our next-generation platform. You will lead the development of resilient, cloud-native microservices in Node.js/TypeScript, contribute to architectural decisions that improve scalability and availability, and mentor other engineers. Experience or a strong interest in platform engineering and AI agents is a major plus as we pursue this year’s strategic objectives.
_This is you_
- 5+ years of hands-on Node.js and TypeScript development, demonstrating senior-level ownership;
- 3+ years with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Serverless Framework, SAM, or equivalent);




- 5+ years with SQL and NoSQL databases; able to design data models and optimize queries for performance and scale;
- Proven track record in building and operating microservices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and deployments;
- Demonstrated ability to own features end-to-end, drive improvements independently, and communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences;
- Native Spanish; intermediate English.

Nice-to-have skills:
- Background or strong interest in platform engineering, AI agents/conversational systems, or model/agent orchestration tooling;
- Hands-on with EKS/Kubernetes and advanced IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Serverless Framework patterns);
- Skilled in profiling, load testing, performance optimization of distributed systems, and cloud security practices;
- Open-source contributions or technical leadership in developer communities.
