Role Description The Oracle Simphony Specialist is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting Oracle Simphony POS environments for restaurant and retail clients. This contract, remote role involves performing system setup and updates, managing menus and pricing, and ensuring integrations with payment systems, inventory tools, and other third-party applications function smoothly.



The specialist collaborates with client stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot technical and operational issues, and provide clear documentation and training to end users. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring system performance, resolving support tickets, participating in implementation or migration projects, and aligning configurations with client business processes and brand standards. The role also requires proactive communication with internal teams and clients to ensure timely delivery of solutions and adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Oracle Simphony configuration, menu management, and POS administration for multi-site restaurant or retail environments.
Strong skills in troubleshooting POS issues, analyzing logs, and resolving connectivity and integration problems with payment, inventory, and reporting systems.
