Operations Director | Pharmaceutical Industry | Chile

At Gunei Partners , we are leading the search for an Operations Director for a leading pharmaceutical company based in Chile.

We are seeking a senior executive with 10+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry , with a proven track record in leadership positions across Operations, OPEX, Operational Excellence and industrial process management .

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and strengthening the company’s operational strategy , driving a culture of operational excellence, efficiency and continuous improvement, while ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance and GMP .

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic and operational leadership across the organization’s operations.

• Develop and implement OPEX, productivity and continuous improvement initiatives .

- Optimize operational and manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and value creation.
- Lead and develop high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.

• Ensure compliance with GMP requirements , quality standards and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.

- Establish and monitor key operational performance indicators, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead strategic transformation, process optimization and operational excellence projects.




- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align operational strategy with broader business objectives.

Profile

- 10+ years of professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry. Advanced English proficiency is required

• Proven leadership experience in Operations, OPEX, Manufacturing, Production or Operational Excellence .

- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of industrial and manufacturing processes.

• Solid experience operating within GMP-regulated environments .

- Demonstrated ability to lead complex operations, transformation initiatives and multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong orientation towards continuous improvement, operational excellence, efficiency and results .

- Strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities and hands-on operational leadership.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
