We’re building the next generation of our Commercial Lines platform, and this role is an opportunity to help shape a key part of that journey. As we expand into larger commercial risks, we are developing a new Commercial Property product that will support meaningful growth for the business and create a better experience for our employees, agents, and customers.

As a critical member of the Commercial Lines Dedicated Functional team, you will help advance a modern platform that enables employees and agents to submit, quote, bind,

and support commercial risks. You will contribute to front-end architecture, partner closely with back-end engineers, and help deliver intuitive, high-performing user experiences that make complex workflows easier to navigate.

Requirements

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

 Experience with React Hooks and React Testing Library.

 Strong TypeScript skills.





 Experience building or working with custom design system components.

 Experience with front-end tracing, logging, and troubleshooting.

 Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices.

 Experience designing and building HTML forms.

 Knowledge of shift-left testing practices.

 Experience with feature flag architectures.

 Familiarity with rules engines.

 Experience in Insurtech or Fintech environments.

 Experience with tools such as Sentry, LaunchDarkly, and Mixpanel.

Job responsibilities

What you’ll do

 Build and test modern front-end components using React, TypeScript, and our internal React component design system.

 Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and engineers to create thoughtful, feature-rich user experiences.

 Participate in pair programming and code reviews to help raise code quality,

share knowledge, and strengthen the team.

What you’ll bring

 Experience building and architecting web applications with a focus on accessibility, browser compatibility, performance, and maintainability.

 Hands-on experience with front-end tooling such as NPM, Yarn, Babel, Jest, and

Webpack.

 Comfort working in agile teams that value collaboration, iteration, and continuous improvement.
