Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Specialised Accountant to join our growing Logistics Company in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for Expense coding, variance analysis, budgeting, and supporting decision-making through data analysis. This role plays a key part in helping the company understand its financial performance and drive profitability.

This role will work remotely from home and have night shift till 1 AM IST.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports,



and payment requests in a timely manner
- Verify invoice accuracy, approvals, and GL coding compliance
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and execute weekly/monthly payments (EFT, checks, wire transfers)
- Maintain organized AP files and support audits with documentation
- Assist with month-end closing (accruals, reporting, reconciliations)
- Collaborate with procurement and departments to resolve payment issues
- Identify process improvements for efficiency and compliance

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or corporate finance roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Quick books/accounting software.
- Knowledge of Macros, Power BI, Tableau is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
