JOB DESCRIPTION
Elevate your career by steering multi-faceted tech programs, integrating innovative solutions for a dynamic impact across global operations.
As the Strategy & Execution Lead for Buenos Aires CIB Technology, you will translate strategic priorities into clear execution plans, accountable ownership and measurable outcomes across a complex, integral and matrixed organization.
You will lead high-priority initiatives spanning businesses, functions and technology teams, creating clarity from ambiguity and maintaining momentum from strategy through delivery. Using strong judgment, analytical reasoning and business acumen, you will identify what must happen, mobilize stakeholders, drive decisions, resolve barriers and escalate effectively when intervention is required.
This role requires a highly self-directed and action-oriented leader who brings informed recommendations, challenges constructively and remains accountable for outcomes. Success will be measured by strategic value delivered—not meetings coordinated, materials produced or activity completed.
Job responsibilities
- Translate Buenos Aires CIB Technology priorities into outcome-based execution plans with clear ownership, milestones, dependencies and success measures.
- Lead complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives from problem definition through implementation and measurable value realization.
- Establish execution discipline and maintain accountability for decisions, commitments and outcomes across stakeholders who may sit outside the role's direct authority.
- Create clarity from ambiguous business, technology and organizational challenges by identifying root causes, evaluating alternatives and recommending a path forward.
- Identify stalled initiatives, resolve or remove barriers and escalate with a clear assessment, recommendation and precise request for intervention.
- Connect technology priorities and capabilities to business problems, stakeholder needs and measurable business or organizational value.
- Maintain an integrated view of strategic priorities, risks, dependencies, decisions and opportunities, ensuring leadership attention is directed toward the highest-value outcomes.
- Influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams,
constructively challenging assumptions and driving timely alignment and decisions.
- Develop concise, executive-ready recommendations and narratives that enable understanding, sponsorship and action.
- Drive strategic priorities including Engineering Value, business alignment, site capability development and leadership effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen the contribution, visibility and strategic value of Buenos Aires across CIB Technology.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate analysis, planning, risk and dependency synthesis, and executive-ready communications, validating outputs and handling data according to firm requirements.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Seven or more years of experience—or equivalent expertise—leading complex technology programs, strategic execution or cross-functional transformation in a large organization.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into coordinated execution and measurable outcomes.
- Advanced analytical reasoning, critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills across business, technology and operational challenges.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect technology initiatives to stakeholder needs and business value.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, establish accountability and drive outcomes without direct authority.
- Highly self-directed and action-oriented, with the judgment to advance work without waiting for detailed instruction.
- Demonstrated resilience in navigating ambiguity, resistance, competing priorities and organizational friction.
- Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex issues into clear recommendations, decisions and asks.
- Proven ability to lead through change, manage dependencies and maintain momentum in high-pressure, shifting environments.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support planning, analysis and program-management workflows,
with appropriate validation and data-handling discipline.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience supporting a global technology organization operating across businesses, functions and geographies.
- Experience with technology strategy, operating models, transformation or site-capability development.
- Demonstrated success leading initiatives that delivered measurable business or organizational value.
- Ability to distinguish high-impact strategic priorities from lower-value activity and maintain focus through execution.
- Leadership potential and readiness to assume progressively broader organizational responsibility.
