Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Youth Therapist role located in Santa Fe County The Youth Therapist will provide individual and group counseling to children, adolescents, and young adults using evidence-based and culturally responsive therapeutic approaches.
Daily responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with families, schools, and community partners.
The role involves crisis intervention when needed, participation in case conferences, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic care.




The Youth Therapist will also engage in ongoing training and supervision to maintain high standards of practice and comply with all relevant clinical and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in youth counseling, assessment, and treatment planning, with experience in behavioral and emotional health interventions.
Ability to apply evidence-based therapies in culturally meaningful ways, with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and community contexts.
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with youth, families, and stakeholders.
Capacity to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, manage caseloads, and respond effectively to crises.
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; licensure or eligibility for licensure as required by local regulations.
Experience in community or school-based mental health settings is highly beneficial.
Commitment to ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and adherence to local clinical standards.
Proficiency in Spanish and/or additional language skills are an asset.
