Operations Director | Pharmaceutical Industry | Chile

At Gunei Partners, we are leading the search for an Operations Director for a leading pharmaceutical company based in Chile.

We are seeking a senior executive with 10+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record in leadership positions across Operations, OPEX, Operational Excellence and industrial process management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and strengthening the company's operational strategy, driving a culture of operational excellence, efficiency and continuous improvement, while ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance and GMP.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across the organization's operations.
- Develop and implement OPEX, productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimize operational and manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and value creation.
- Lead and develop high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with GMP requirements,



quality standards and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
- Establish and monitor key operational performance indicators, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead strategic transformation, process optimization and operational excellence projects.
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align operational strategy with broader business objectives.

Profile
- 10+ years of professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry. Advanced English proficiency is required
- Proven leadership experience in Operations, OPEX, Manufacturing, Production or Operational Excellence.
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of industrial and manufacturing processes.
- Solid experience operating within GMP-regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex operations, transformation initiatives and multidisciplinary teams.
