Position Summary

Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) invites applications for the position of Respiratory Care Program Director (PD). This is a 12-month, full-time faculty position responsible for overseeing all administrative and educational aspects of the Respiratory Care Program. The Program Director will manage fiscal planning, program evaluation, curriculum design, faculty supervision, and accreditation compliance. This role also involves regular student and faculty interaction and participation in college-wide activities. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure quality of the Respiratory Care Program.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate department faculty.
- Recruit, train, and retain qualified instructors.
- Develop, update, and review respiratory care curriculum.




- Maintain program assessment and accreditation standards.
- Manage departmental budget and resources.
- Coordinate program meetings and advisory committees.
- Collaborate with clinical affiliates, including outreach and simulation lab support.
- Lead student recruitment, advising, retention, and placement initiatives.
- Develop articulation agreements with bachelor completion programs.
- Promote SFCC’s mission and learning community environment.
