Accountant | Full-Cycle | Remote

Howard Financial Services is a remote-first fractional accounting and finance firm supporting ~75 clients across hospitality, vacation rentals, real estate, e-commerce, and consumer brands. We're not a back-office shop — we're the finance team our clients wish they'd hired in-house, minus the overhead.

We're looking for an Accountant who owns full-cycle accounting end to end, moves fluidly between multiple clients and priorities without losing precision, and treats tech stacks as a toolkit, not a hurdle.

What you'll own

- Full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of clients: AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close
- Preparation of accurate, timely financial statements and reporting packages
- Multi-entity, multi-client workflows — context-switching is part of the job, not an exception to it
- Process improvement: spotting inefficiencies and building better workflows, not just following the ones that exist
- Direct communication with client stakeholders — you'll represent Howard,

- Sharp and confident — you can hold your own in a conversation with a client's CFO
