Tax Manager – Automotive & Import OperationsOmoda & Jaecoo Argentina is looking for a Tax Manager to lead local tax compliance and planning during the company's start-up and operational stages.The role requires strong experience in import-related taxation and the ability to work closely with Finance, Logistics, Customs, external advisors, and regional headquarters.Key ResponsibilitiesLead national and provincial tax compliance, planning, and reporting.Manage tax matters related to vehicle and spare-parts imports, including import duties, VAT, withholdings, perceptions, and customs-related taxes.Assess the tax impact of customs valuation, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and cross-border payments.Prepare tax forecasts, including advance payments, tax credits, recoverability balances,
and first-year tax obligations.Support tax audits and interactions with tax and customs authorities.Monitor regulatory changes and establish tax processes and internal controls for the local operation.RequirementsDegree in Accounting or a related field.At least 7 years of tax experience, including senior or managerial responsibilities.Strong knowledge of Argentine corporate income tax, VAT, provincial taxes, withholding regimes, and transfer pricing.Proven experience with import operations and customs-related taxation.Previous experience in an automotive OEM, vehicle importer, automotive distributor, or another import-intensive multinational company.Experience supporting a start-up or newly established local operation is highly valued.Advanced English, required for regular interaction with regional and general teams.Location: Puerto Madero, Ciudad de Buenos Aires, ArgentinaWork arrangement: On-siteIf your experience combines tax leadership, import operations, and the automotive industry, we would like to hear from you.
