Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Specialised Accountant to join our growing Logistics Company in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for Expense coding, variance analysis, budgeting, and supporting decision-making through data analysis. This role plays a key part in helping the company understand its financial performance and drive profitability.

This role will work remotely from home and have night shift till 1 AM IST.

Key Responsibilities:




Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payment requests in a timely manner
Verify invoice accuracy, approvals, and GL coding compliance
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and execute weekly/monthly payments (EFT, checks, wire transfers)
Maintain organized AP files and support audits with documentation
Assist with month-end closing (accruals, reporting, reconciliations)
Collaborate with procurement and departments to resolve payment issues
Identify process improvements for efficiency and compliance

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or corporate finance roles
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Quick books/accounting software.
Knowledge of Macros, Power BI, Tableau is an asset.
