SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will support the Accounting Manager in maintaining accurate accounting records for multiple licensed locations in Florida. This role focuses on full-cycle accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and continuous process improvement. Experience with U.S. accounting is required; restaurant accounting is strongly preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours:

Monday-Friday 9- 5pm - Aligned with Eastern Time (USA)

Work modality:

in person at offices in the Belgrano area (CABA)

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain the General Ledger and prepare journal entries.

· Perform month-end and year-end close activities.

· Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

· Reconcile bank accounts, merchant accounts, credit cards, and cash deposits.

· Process and review Accounts Payable.

· Assist with payroll accounting and payroll reconciliations.

· Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses.

· Support budgeting and forecasting.





· Maintain accounting records for multiple entities and intercompany transactions.

· Prepare schedules for external CPA and annual audits.

· Identify process improvements and help automate accounting workflows.

· Coordinate calls with vendors and with internal clients/stakeholders in the USA.

· Supervise and support Junior Accountants/Accounting Assistants based in the Argentina office.

Preferred Experience

· 8–10+ years of accounting experience.

· Experience supporting U.S. companies and familiarity with US GAAP.

· Multi-company or multi-location accounting.

· Hospitality, restaurant, retail or franchise accounting preferred.

· Experience with ERP systems such as Restaurant365, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar.

Systems

· Required: Advanced Excel, QuickBooks, Google Workspace.

· Preferred: Restaurant365, Bill.com, APS/ADP Payroll, Power BI.
