We are
seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager / Estimating Manager to lead our construction project engineering / estimation team. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC and plumbing design, construction estimating, project management, and cost control, with the ability to interpret technical drawings. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate project bids, optimizing material and labor costs, and supporting successful project execution from inception to completion. The Estimating Manager will oversee the development of detailed estimates, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and utilize industry-standard software tools to deliver precise and competitive proposals.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the construction engineering / estimating team to develop
accurate project estimates.
- Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to
determine material requirements and scope of work.
- Analyze project specifications, contracts,
and technical drawings to ensure
a comprehensive understanding of project requirements.
- Conduct pricing analysis by sourcing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors; negotiate terms to
optimize costs.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring estimates align with client expectations and company standards.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from blueprints and technical drawings to
determine material quantities needed for projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to review proposals, clarify scope changes, and ensure alignment on project
objectives.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of estimates, assumptions, and methodologies for transparency and future reference.
Experience &
Requirements
- Proven experience managing hvac / plumbing design or estimating teams within commercial or industrial sectors.
- A bachelor's
