Under the slogan “The Paths of the Argentine Bioeconomy” the Secretariat of Bioeconomy is organizing the first photography contest.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries promotes tools to boost the sustainable development of the bioeconomy.

The bioeconomy encompasses all sectors of the economy that utilize biological resources and/or processes for the sustainable production of goods and services. It aims to maximize the use of existing biomass and biodiversity in a way that is environmentally sustainable.





The Undersecretariat of Food, Bioeconomy and Regional Development, belonging to the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, organizes the photography contest “Argentine Bioeconomy in Images”, with the objective of exposing in images the different expressions of the Bioeconomy in our country.

Therefore, all those interested in participating in the contest are invited to submit their photographic material, which may be used in the promotional activities of the Undersecretariat of Food, Bioeconomy, and Regional Development. Submission to the contest implies the unreserved authorization of the photograph owners for their use for these purposes.

Prizes will be awarded to the two (2) best photographs selected by the Jury, in each of the two categories:
- Amateur (using a cell phone); and
- Professional (using camera).
