The Undersecretariat of Food, Bioeconomy and Regional Development, through the Program Adding Value to Improve the Competitiveness of Agri-food SMEs (PROCAL IV), opens the call for agri-food SMEs that want to participate in the Project: “Implementation of Good Practices for the Reduction of Food Loss and Waste (PDA) in Agri-food SMEs”.

For over 10 years, PROCAL has contributed to the competitiveness of the Argentine agri-food sector through differentiation and value addition. It seeks to promote the efficiency of SMEs by implementing practices that improve business management, facilitate entry into new markets, and position them as benchmarks for the quality and sustainability of their products and processes.

This time,



50 agri-food SMEs and/or wholesale markets will be selected to receive technical assistance for implementing the “Guide for Sustainable Agri-food SMEs: Contribution to the Prevention and Reduction of Food Losses in the Private Sector .” The aim is to reduce food loss and waste, with an emphasis on increasing efficiency, sustainability, and the transition to a circular economy. In this way, participating companies will be able to consolidate and optimize their internal processes, ensuring a systematic methodology that provides feedback for continuous improvement.

What does the experience consist of?
