About the Role

HRbaires is seeking a Data Analyst / Data Engineer to join the team.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on data migrations, SQL development, Python automation, customer integrations, and production support for enterprise customers.

You will work directly with customer data, helping organizations migrate information , troubleshoot complex data issues, build integrations, and ensure data accuracy across critical business processes.

The adecuado candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, highly independent, and comfortable working directly with customers to investigate, resolve, and document complex data challenges.

Responsibilities

- Analyze customer data from legacy systems and prepare it for migration.

- Design, build, and execute data migration processes.

- Support database migrations from SQL Server to PostgreSQL.

- Develop complex SQL queries for extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and reporting.

- Create Python scripts for automation, data processing, file handling, validation, and migration tasks.

- Build and maintain custom data ingestion workflows and third-party integrations.

- Work with structured data sources including SQL databases, APIs, CSV, Excel, and JSON files.

- Investigate and resolve customer issues related to data imports, exports, integrations, reporting, and system behavior.

- Communicate directly with customers to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and explain findings.

- Utilize AI-assisted workflows, including Claude, to support SQL development, Python scripting, data analysis, and documentation.

- Create and maintain documentation for data mappings, migration rules, validation procedures, and integration logic.

- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Support teams.

- Follow data security, confidentiality,



and customer support best practices.

Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server.

- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.

- Advanced SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, CTEs, stored procedures/functions, reconciliation, and data validation.

- Practical experience using Python for data processing, automation, and validation.

- Experience with data migration, data mapping, data cleanup, or implementation projects.

- Ability to understand unfamiliar data models and map data between systems.

- Experience troubleshooting data-related issues in production or customer-facing environments.

- Familiarity with APIs, CSV, Excel, JSON, and common integration patterns.

- Experience leveraging Claude or similar AI tools to support technical workflows.

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with finance, billing, invoicing, revenue management, accounts receivable, or financial reporting systems.

- Experience working with enterprise SaaS platforms.

- Experience supporting customer implementations or production environments.

- Exposure to media, entertainment, content distribution, royalties, rights management, affiliate sales, or subscriber reporting.

- Experience building repeatable migration frameworks, reconciliation reports, or validation processes.

- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.

- Experience working with distributed global teams.
