Job Summary

Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, this position is responsible for leading the Corporate Finance & Accounting function for a newly established Corporate Office. The role will ensure compliance with Bechtel policies and local statutory requirements while supporting the setup of processes, controls, and reporting. This position will initially have a scoped scope but is expected to evolve in parallel with business growth, increasing in complexity, transaction volume, and leadership responsibilities, supporting progression toward a high level.

Major Responsibilities
- Lead Finance & Accounting activities for the Buenos Aires Corporate Office, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, taxes, cash management, and statutory reporting.
- Maintain corporate and statutory accounting books ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare financial statements, trial balances, and supporting schedules; perform and oversee monthly reconciliations, including corporate vs. statutory records.




- Manage cash flow and prepare forecasts in coordination with Santiago office Cash Management group.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and statutory submissions; coordinate with project teams and functions to resolve accounting issues.
- Provide financial analysis and management reporting; act as the primary accounting interface for the Argentina Corporate Office.
- Contribute to the establishment of a strong control environment aligned with Bechtel standards.
- Support design and improvement of accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures.
- Support and progressively lead audits, tax inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Provide recommendations on complex accounting, tax, and compliance matters.
- Participate in system implementations and process standardization initiatives.
