Position Summary

This is a broad, hybrid role that blends patient communication, scheduling, clinical documentation support, administrative assistance, and billing or insurance tasks. Virtual Assistants are cross-trained generalists: the specific mix of responsibilities will vary by client placement, but every Virtual Assistant should be comfortable moving between patient-facing communication, back-office administrative work, and detail-driven documentation. Your work ensures smooth operations and a dependable, welcoming experience for every patient and provider you support.





Key Responsibilities

Patient Communication & Call Management
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, voicemails, emails, and social media inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Resolve patient concerns and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Collaborate with US-based healthcare practices to manage inquiries and scheduling.

Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using digital tools.
- Monitor daily schedules to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams and practice staff to maintain timely operations.

Medical Documentation & Clinical Support
- Provide real-time or near-real-time documentation support during patient encounters, when assigned to a scribe function.
- Accurately transcribe patient history, exams, and physician-dictated notes into medical records.
