About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring an Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, month-end close, payroll, and core accounting operations across complex client accounts.
This is a hands-on accounting role, not a basic bookkeeping or data-entry position. We’re looking for someone with strong accrual accounting and GAAP expertise who can confidently manage multi-entity, multi-location, and multi-segment accounting environments.
You’ll take ownership of:
Month-end close
GAAP financial reporting
Payroll processing
Accounts payable and receivable
General ledger accuracy
U.S. sales tax compliance
Budgeting and forecasting support
Accounting process improvement

What You’ll OwnMonth-End Close & Financial Reporting




Execute accurate and timely month-end close processes
Prepare financial statements and reports aligned with client requirements
Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready workpapers
Ensure reporting complies with applicable accounting standards
Review financial data for discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
Maintain consistent reporting timelines across multiple accounts and entities
Payroll & Employee Setup
Process payroll accurately using Gusto or similar payroll platforms
Set up and maintain employees within payroll systems
Ensure payroll information and documentation remain accurate
Support payroll-related compliance requirements
Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies before processing deadlines
Core Accounting Operations
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
Maintain accurate general ledger records
Manage accounting activity across multiple entities, locations, or business segments
Prepare and review
