About the Role
Kopius is seeking Senior Systems Engineers / DevOps professionals to join our team on a long-term engagement supporting a leading global technology company. This role focuses on Systems Engineering, DevOps, and SRE work across production infrastructure — including CDN, edge, container orchestration, and cloud platforms.
This is a senior, hands-on role for engineers who thrive in production environments — designing and maintaining automation, resolving incidents, participating in on-call rotations, and ensuring reliability, performance, and security at scale. You will work directly with client engineering teams operating on U.S. Pacific Time.

Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain Akamai Cloudlets policies — including Edge Redirector, Forward Rewrite, and Policy Manager




Support and operate Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads in production
Build and maintain infrastructure on AWS — including compute, networking, storage, and security services
Develop advanced Python automation for infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and operational tooling
Manage and improve CDN and WAF infrastructure, edge configurations, and traffic routing
Provide production support and incident management — root cause analysis, remediation, and post-incident documentation
Participate in SRE on-call rotations and drive reliability, observability, and performance improvements
Partner with development teams on deployment strategies, release processes, and platform-level enhancements
Champion security, compliance, and operational best practices across infrastructure and pipelines

Basic Qualifications
Advanced English with strong written and verbal communication skills (daily interaction with U.S.-based teams)
