Position Summary:

Coordinates and provides supervises the Rehabilitation Services departments. Provides leadership, direction, and administration of all aspects of the Rehabilitation Services departments. Responsible for managing and directing the rehabilitation services product line. Administrative functions include staffing and directing personnel. Provides mechanism for ensuring quality care, issue resolution, orientation, and ongoing competency of personnel. Responsible for planning and maintaining materials, equipment and supplies necessary for employees to perform their job, and to provide competitive, cost effective service to patients and physicians. Plans and markets programs and services to medical staff, health center and community. Maintains active communication among medical staff, health center leadership, and staff.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in physical therapy

Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree preferred

Minimum Experience

-
Three years of physical therapy experience

-
Hospital experience preferred

-
Two years management experience preferred

Required Registration/License/Certification

-
Current Kansas Physical Therapist license

-
CPR certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support [American Red Cross-CPR for the Professional Rescuer] or Basic Life Support [American Heart Association-Health Care Provider] certification obtained within 90 days of employment
