Position Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Provides legal guidance to AFRL attorneys, Commander, Executive Director, Vice Commander, senior HQs staff, and Directorates, including the recognition of legal issues affecting the operations of AFRL. Investigates and analyzes factual situations, identifies legal issues, conducts legal research and determines compliance with legal, procedural and regulatory requirements to provide legal advice to AFRL clients. Advises clients and responds to inquiries in person and through written reviews and correspondence.



Independently responsible for the development, drafting, negotiating of, as well as, reviews and advises AFRL clients on a wide variety of legal instruments and supporting documents.

Advises on agreement strategies & processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies & procedures.
- Provides advice on intellectual property and technology transfer matters to senior management and other AFRL clients.
- Reviews and advises on ethics issues as assigned by the AFRL Chief Counsel. Represents AFRL/JA in meetings, boards and committees as assigned by the AFRL Chief Counsel.
- Advises and assists with litigation processes including discovery requests, litigation documents and litigation holds. Corresponds with opposing and outside counsel.
