Promoting Rights, Inclusion, Dignity, and Enhanced Political Participation of LGBTIQ+ Individuals in Nepal

Blue Diamond Society Nepal
invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from qualified LGBTIQ+-led Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and LGBTIQ+ Networks with demonstrated experience in promoting democratic participation, civic engagement, and the political inclusion of LGBTIQ+ communities in Nepal.

The EOI is open to organizations and networks that have proven experience in areas working with:
- Civic and political participation and representation of marginalized communities;
- Voter education, voter rights awareness, and electoral participation campaigns;
- Advocacy for inclusive governance and democratic processes;
- Capacity building for political leadership and representation;
- Supporting LGBTIQ+ individuals to engage in political processes, contest elections, or assume leadership positions at the local, provincial, or national levels.





Eligible organizations and networks must be based in or working within the following provinces:
- Madhesh Province
- Bagmati Province
- Lumbini Province
- Sudurpashchim

Through this initiative, Blue Diamond Society Nepal aims to identify, document, and promote successful models and best practices of political engagement by LGBTIQ+ communities. The project will capture innovative approaches, lessons learned, and evidence-based experiences to strengthen knowledge sharing, advocacy efforts, and the scaling up of sustainable and inclusive political participation practices across Nepal.
