A fast-growing technology company in the telecom software space is looking for a Director of Software Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams responsible for the design, development, scalability, and evolution of complex platform products.

This role blends strong engineering leadership, software architecture expertise, and organizational management. You will guide technical decision-making across teams, drive engineering excellence, and lead AI-driven transformation initiatives — all while ensuring software solutions remain scalable, reliable, and aligned with business goals.

What you'll do
- Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams and team leaders across product and platform initiatives
- Drive technical and architectural direction across the organization
- Partner closely with Product and Executive Leadership to align engineering execution with business strategy
- Champion AI transformation initiatives, evaluating and adopting emerging technologies
- Define and track engineering KPIs across delivery, quality, reliability,



and team health
- Foster a culture of ownership, autonomy, accountability, and continuous learning

What we're looking for
- 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years leading multiple teams or engineering managers
- Strong command of modern software architectures, distributed systems, cloud-native environments, and DevOps practices
- Proven track record guiding architecture and technical decision-making at scale
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows or LLM-based solutions is highly desirable
- Background in OSS/BSS, TM Forum standards, or telecom ecosystems is a strong plus
- Advanced English communication skills
