The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is an MLS soccer club serving the greater Los Angeles area. This is an independent contractor position.

We are seeking an experienced, self driven, and well-connected professional football scout to oversee talent identification and player evaluation across various territories in South America. This role will be responsible for prospecting in various regions, including but not limited to Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela and Colombia. As a result,



this person will play a critical role in identifying elite and emerging talent aligned with the club's values and methodology.

This role reports to the Technical Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Identify and prospect emerging and established players across various leagues, competitions, and communities
- Stay up to date with market trends, player valuations, and transfer developments
- Identify talent at all skill levels and other strategic recruitment opportunities, specifically focusing not only on current performance but potential as well
- Conduct in-depth player assessment on various criteria, such as but not limited to technical, tactical, and physical, and provide detailed scouting reports within strict timelines.
