DESCRIPTION:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Security Solutions Architect to work with our largest customers. In this vital role, you will help overcome barriers to AWS adoption by identifying and tackling major security, risk, and compliance questions from stakeholders, as well as build and maintain CISO/CRO and executive-level relationships becoming their Security Advisor. You will work directly with customer security, audit, risk and compliance teams to help them understand how to confidently utilize AWS, identify risk and design controls, setup ongoing assurance, and establish automated compliance.
This position is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the role requires approximately 15% travel (including international).
Key job responsibilities
- Work with AWS customers to convey cloud computing security and risk management best practices
- Work with other teams within AWS develop the internal security expertise and to drive revenue
- Develop technical content, such as white papers, reference architectures, blogposts, workshops, or code samples that can be used by our customers to assist them in deploying secure cloud-based solutions
- Assess security-related knowledge across AWS sales and solutions architecture teams and develop plans to address gaps
- Presenting about security topics at AWS events, and represent AWS at security conferences by delivering presentations and lectures
