The Supply Chain Material Planneris responsible for overseeing end‑to‑end material planning activities to ensure consistent availability of materials that support production, operations, and customer delivery requirements. This role drives inventory accuracy, optimizes planning processes, and collaborates closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse and other Materials Management teams to meet service, cost, and quality targets. The position also ensures compliance with established Materials Management policies and guidelines and drives the adoption of improved processes when necessary.

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute MRP-driven material planning for various projects,



analyzing ERP demand data to generate accurate Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
- Manage Purchase Order adjustments, including cancellations, modifications, and the creation of rework Purchase Orders as needed.
- Conduct excess inventory analysis and coordinate with the warehouse for the availability of excess inventory, aiming to minimize excess stock and reduce liability.
- Engage in negotiations with suppliers for quick buys to address urgent requirements while controlling costs.
- Take ownership for PO dates in ERP and maintain system accuracy to reflect current material statuses.
- Review and adjust material schedules by working closely with suppliers to execute pull-ins, pushouts, rev changes and cancellations to support changing enterprise and project needs.
- Follow up with suppliers concerning material shortages that affect production, minimizing impact on manufacturing schedules.
