UNICEF Argentina’s education portfolio is strategically focused on improving foundational learning outcomes as a cornerstone for equity and system strengthening. The office is currently supporting a complex, multi-level agenda that includes national policy implementation (e.g., the National Mathematics Plan), early literacy in intercultural contexts, strengthening transitions into secondary education, and advancing inclusion and re-engagement of out-of-school adolescents. In parallel, UNICEF plays a key convening role—mobilizing governments, generating evidence, and promoting child participation—to influence education policy and practice across multiple jurisdictions, requiring sustained technical leadership and coordination capacity.
