You will investigate complex financial crimes, analyze transactional data, and help refine our monitoring systems to stay ahead of emerging risks.

What you’ll do
- Investigate AML alerts escalated from the triage team to assess money laundering risks.
- Perform deep-dive investigations into on-chain financial crime and identify new typologies.
- Suggest improvements for transaction monitoring rules to increase system accuracy.
- Evaluate blockchain data to find patterns and provide actionable insights.
- Create and deploy scripts to manage and process large datasets.
- Verify that user transactions comply with firm policies and regulations.
- Prepare formal case files and written summaries of your findings.
- Request Source of Funds and Source of Wealth documentation as needed.




- Manage escalations of varying complexity while coordinating with other departments.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, AML, or a related field.
- Proven background in Fraud Prevention or Compliance.
- High level of personal integrity.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and within a team.
- Mandatory proficiency in MS Word and Google Sheets or MS Excel.
- Mandatory in-office attendance at our Palermo location four days per week.

Nice to have
- Experience with Enhanced Due Diligence or triaging transaction monitoring alerts.
- Prior work history in the crypto or fintech sectors.
