What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain robust AI systems that are ready for production, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications, multi-agent workflows, and services powered by large language models (LLMs).
- Take the lead on the technical execution of AI initiatives, guiding projects from the discovery phase through to successful deployment.
- Architect backend services, APIs, and retrieval systems to support AI functionalities.
- Improve the observability, reliability,



and overall performance of AI applications to ensure they meet business needs.
- Set engineering standards and create documentation to establish best practices in AI development.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to convert operational challenges into effective technical solutions.
- Evaluate new foundational models, frameworks, and prompting strategies for their potential integration into existing systems.
- Develop automated testing strategies and evaluation frameworks specifically for LLM systems to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Mentor junior engineers by providing technical guidance and conducting design reviews to foster their growth.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, architectural discussions, and the delivery of cross-functional projects to ensure alignment and efficiency.
